Our practice philosophy recognises the inherent value provided by trees in our forests and urban areas as Green Infrastructure.

We strive to increase the value of this infrastructure through the provision of innovative, best practice arboricultural solutions.

Our Expert Team

Skilled and experienced AQF Level 5 & AQF Level 8 Project Arborists.

Arboreport is part of the AEON Group established in 2003 by Director Adrian Swain. Adrian is an AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist, Fellow of the Landscape Design Institute and a Registered Landscape Architect. Adrian has been consulting in the fields of Landscape, Horticulture and Arboriculture for over 20 years.

Adrian Swain

Adrian is a Registered Landscape Architect, a Past National President and a Fellow of the Landscape Design Institute.

Adrian provides expert witness testimony for matters relating to development impacts on existing trees. Mostly working with local governments providing peer review followed by court attendance as an expert witness for those matters.

Dennis Marsden

Dennis is our Team Leader, he has 40+ years industry experience including 28 years as an Arboricultural Consultant. He started consulting through Civic Trees in the early 1990’s before establishing his own consultancy in 1999. After 20 years Dennis closed The Sugar Factory – Arbor Advocate and shortly after joined Arboreport.

As our team leader Dennis takes the lead for our team preparing proposals allocating resources, managing client expectations, expert witness reporting and resistograph (decay diagnostic) testing.

Andrew Morrison

Andrew has been interested in horticulture since an early age, leading him to pursue a career which culminated in studying for his Graduate Certificate in Arboriculture (AQF Level 8) at the University of Melbourne. He found this stimulating and enjoyable. It greatly consolidated and expanded his knowledge in the many facets of Arboriculture.

In 2007 Andrew completed diplomas in both Arboriculture and Landscape Design.

Robbie Cunningham

In 1998 Robbie commenced studying for her Diploma of Horticulture (Landscape Design, 2000), which was then followed by a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (UNSW, 2007) and a Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF Level 5, Ryde TAFE, 2019).

Since early 2020 Robbie has been working with Arboreport, utilising her background in horticulture, landscape architecture and landscape design. Consequently, the majority of her work is with development sites and construction.
