Amenity Tree
Risk Management Plan

In July 1968 one hundred and twenty (120) Lemon-scented Gums (Eucalyptus citriodora) were planted in the central courtyard of the university. The formation was said to represent a phalanx; a unit of a legion of the Roman army.

Arboreport was engaged to provide an inventory and risk assessment for these trees. Resultantly we prepared a 5 year management plan and provided ongoing inspections and monitoring biannually and as required.

We then reviewed the management plan and prepared a new plan for the following 5 years. As part of this review of the management plan we reinspected all trees at which time we made observations which required further diagnostic procedures to be implemented to assess specific trees.

Scope:

  • Amenity tree management plan
  • Tree inventory and audit
  • Tree risk assessment
  • CAD tree location plans
  • Schedules for tree management works over 5 years
  • Monitoring review and ongoing management
